Sunday, June 8th is the day that Lakewood is showing off its RedTail Golf Course and celebrating living in the village.
Bring a can of food and get a free hot dog.

Celebrate Lakewood, Sunday, June 8, 2014
The Village of Lakewood will hold its third annual Celebrate Lakewood festival on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. at Redtail Golf Club located at 7900 Redtail Drive, Lakewood, IL.
The event offers free fun for the whole family, with festivities including: games, face painting, moon-bounce, a balloon artist, driving range for the kids, and raffle prizes. Vehicles from the Police, Fire and Public Work departments will also be on hand for interactive fun.
New this year, certified car seat technicians will be available to either inspect the installation of your child safety seat or assist by properly installing, if needed. Music will be performed throughout the celebration by Bob Bero.
Hot dogs and soda will be available for $1.00 each. Donate a non-perishable food item for the Grafton Food Pantry and receive a FREE hotdog or soda. Popcorn will also be available for FREE.
In keeping with the Village of Lakewood’s commitment to the environment, there will also be an opportunity to drop off recyclables such as electronics, cardboard, and batteries. Clean Styrofoam, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts will also be accepted. No paint or hazardous waste please!
