Republican Candidate for Illinois Attorney General retired Marine Corps Lt Col Paul Shimpf held a fund raiser at Lou Malnati’s in Buffalo Grove last night. The event was hosted by Brian Medley of Wheeling Township. The event was well attended with 63 people attending.

The McHenry County Republican Party has already held one meet and greet for Schimpf. Schimpf has hit a chord with many local grassroots activists across McHenry County and Illinois.
