The Algonquin Township Republican Central Committee is holding a seminar on how to win public office.

It’s next Monday night at the new Republican Party Headquarters in the Crystal Lake Plaza (where Joseph’s Market is located).

It is not limited to those interested in running for partisan office, that is, county or office in one of the county’s largest townships.

Those interested in running for school, city, village, park, library, fire protection district or any other board are welcome.

The session will be led by Steve Willson, a former Township Trustee in what he calls the Soviet Socialist Republican of Oak Park and the campaign manager for Tom Wilbeck and Chris Jenner when they were elected to the McHenry County College Board.
