Jim Harrison Files for Sheriff as Independent

Jim Harrison was the only candidate for Sheriff spotted at the Lake in the Hills Parade.

Jim Harrison was the only candidate for Sheriff spotted at the Lake in the Hills Parade last September.

Shortly before the County Clerk’s Office closed at 4:30, Independent candidate for Sheriff Jim Harrison came in and filed his petitions.

He told me he filed over 9,000 signatures on 955 sheets of paper.

The stack of paper was said to be about two feet tall.

6,728 were required to get on the ballot.

Harrison pointed out that he had to get more signatures that major party candidates have to gather to get on the ballot for Governor.

Harrison is petitioning to be on the ballot running against Republican Party candidate Bill Prim.  Prim narrowly defeated Andy Zinke in the GOP Primary Election.  Originally, Harrison was going to run in the GOP Primary, but he opted for the Independent candidacy route instead.

Jim Harrison Files for Sheriff as Independent — 94 Comments

  1. The Flip Flopper Has Filed….hang on Harrison…..you’re in for a bumpy ride

  2. I’m surprised you,Cindy, haven’t called him a rat like you did the kids(see unaccompanied Alien Children article)

Looks like we still have to remove the Nygren/Zinke ways.

Just because people sign a piece of paper doesn’t mean they will vote for Harrison.

Bill Prim will prevail and McHenry County will see how a real Sheriff will run the department. Actions in the past will now come out about Harrison.

And the race begins……….. Prim for Sheriff !!!!!

  3. Not to worry, ask yourself the question, why would a successful attorney
want to run for Sheriff when He does not have the experience in that field?

Is it because if he won he could hide anything that has not been shredded?

Is it to protect the old regime?

or is it to get free marketing for his law firm?

  4. I don’t think I would even bother seeing if they are valid.

Let Harrison run,he has that right But the outcome will be for Bill Prim in the end.

People who sign don’t always come out to vote and some sign just to sign.

The real people who are concerned about McHenry County will vote for whomever they feel is the most qualified and that is Bill Prim.

  5. Congratulations Jim and the Harrison for Sheriff Campaign!

Voter, in answer to your question: Do you think it is possible someone could want to help their country, state or county and might put their owne interest in second place?

Also, I think it a great idea not to challenge Jim’s petitions, after all they have already been vetted bu a professional firm.

Maybe both campaigns could agree to donate the money they will otherwise spend on legal fees.

Please note Jim’s finger resting on the windowframe, with none extended.

    See? isn’t that different?

  6. Just Joe.

I guess we will see in November who the people vote for.

    Let the campaign begin folks.

    Sorry Joe, I’m for Bill

  7. Jim, I suppose you know that Harrison was a Democrat, turned Independent ?

Did you know that Harrison was working for Nygren, Gary Pack Regime ?

Do you know that Harrison……..sorry….will save that for later.

It’s too early in the game to bring out some things.

Harrison has no interest in the county, but to keep Zinke as his Deputy Sheriff and continue where Nygren left off !

    He is kidding no one.

When BILL PRIM wins, they can ride off in the sunset together in their MINE RESISTANT AMBUSH PROTECTED VEHICLE

  8. Bill Prim is the right person to create positive change for the people of our County…

Jim Harrison has yet to provide an explanation to the people regarding those land records, land purchase and more….

Pack was the States Attorney during that transaction and Nygren was there too….

Well Jim, what is your excuse?

  9. A lot of things that the Harrison supporters probably are not even aware of will come out.

    Not good for Harrison.

The worst thought ever would be Harrison appointing Zinke be the Under Sheriff.

I think that is the plan all along. Keep the Nygren Regime going.

Get the corruption out of McHenry and vote for Bill Prim.

  10. No problem Voter.

    Hey Duncan, I can explain.

Jim had a law office across from the Courthouse.

It was taken by the County.

He did negotiate a good price.

Pack and Nygren did not influence the deal at all.

$100 say you have any ZERO proof otherwise.(Cal knows how to reach me.)

    Innuendo is just lame.

Spill the facts if you have them.

Honestly, you guys are sounding desperate!

  11. OMG voter, if you are right that Harrison made a deal with Zinke, that’s not good for Prim who won by less than 100 votes.

I did not think that Harrison was going to get the signatures, this is a whole new ballgame now.

  12. This is really a no brain-er .

You vote for the person who is most qualified to run the Sheriff’s department.

Who has the most experience in the past and has proven their honesty, work ethics, humility, etc. and are most concerned about the future of the citizens.

That is clearly seen in Bill Prim.

Harrison is an attorney, plain and simple, nothing more.

He does not have the background to run the Sheriff’s department.

His law enforcement qualifications for only 8 years and 25 years ago don’t make him qualified and it is clear Prim has all the qualifications in that area.

    Harrison just likes a challenge.

That litigation mentality,it’s a game to him,a law game that is only going to hurt the people in the long run.

It’s the chase and the win that counts.

  13. Doreen now your starting to get it.

I’m not directly saying that Harrison made any direct deal with anyone BUT a person does have to question his past relationship with the Nygren/Zinke Regime.

Don’t worry about the margin of votes during the primary,Bill will come out ahead and win.

You are right and it is going to be a different ball game and this blog is going to be quite interesting as the months go on.

I hope you are still planning on coming to meet Bill and I am sure he will address the Harrison run for Sheriff.

  14. “Just Joe” LOL…. You are too funny.

Ok Jim let’s see all the documents…

You are the one that made the deal Jim and therefore you should have all of the documents.

  15. I’m sure Jim got all those signatures if his followers harrassed people to sign as much as they did to me– they probably signed to just make them go away.

“If you sign it doesn’t mean you have to vote for him” is what I was told by the harrasser – I still said no.

  16. Duncan, What year was that land sold in ?

Joe, What do you mean by “it was TAKEN by the county ?

Do you mean, by the Sheriff’s office ?

  17. Good question “Happy Trails” Explain yourself “Just Joe” tell everyone how it was “TAKEN” by the county…lol…..

Some things are not always as they appear… Just saying…

  18. Yes Joe, you did give the explanation, so HOW WAS it taken by the county.

    Why so quite now?

By not answering it gives us the impression you spoke without knowing your facts Joe?

  19. Voter he does have a few facts right.

The land was taken by the County….

    That is true……

    Under what circumstances.

    Hmmmm

Joe is quiet now, because he hasn’t been able to get the big fat foot of his out of his mouth….lol…

We can look forward to more antics by the Harrison camp…

The truth the whole truth, to be seen at a McHenery County Theatre near you…

  20. Hey Jim Harrison, here is your opportunity to present all of the documents pertaining to that famous land deal, to the people of McHenry County..

    We want facts and numbers.

You owe the people an explanation Jim Harrison…

No response from you, speaks loudly!

  21. Duncan honestly I do have big feet, but it does make me uncomfortable that you pay so much attention to them. Not there is anything wrong with that if you’re in to it. It’s just not my thing. Please keep in mind I have a rather busy life and can’t hang out watching the blog 24/7.

My understanding, and I’m not a lawyer or a Realtor, is the County either took Jim’s law office by condemnation or planned to. Jim likely did negotiate a good deal for valuable real estate. (That’s still okay isn’t it?) I believe the County Administration Building was built on the site.

No doubt Jim will answer all these question in good time. (He’s busy too.) If you’re impatient FOIA(While you still can.) the documents yourself.

Jim’s experience include being a Deputy serving Patrol, Corrections, Narcotics and SWat, Special Asst. State’s Attorney working extensively with the MCSO and defending AND bringing lawsuits in police misconduct cases. And a degree in finance.

All good questions folks. Kep ’em coming.

  22. “or is it to get free marketing for his law firm?”

Voter, last time I checked, the going rate for a billboard was about $250/month.

Harrison could rent 40 or so billboards for the cost of running a countywide campaign (~$10,000/month once it ramps up).

  23. No excuse Dunk, just facts.

Now is the time for Bill Prim to polish up his debating boots it’s show time.

Jim has nothing to hide and lot’s to share.

Now I gotta go back to work.

So if I don’t respond please don’t thing I’m dodging.

And know I’ll check in whenever I can.

  24. Mr. Harrison’s being in the Sheriff’s department,I am sure, will be closely examined. 25 years ago.

Only not even 8 years, you don’t even get your feet wet.

Has anyone had a professional resume done?

If you ever do you will be amazed at what you read about yourself.

You won’t even know it is you they are talking about. l.o.l.

Harrison’s qualifications and experience in the department,I feel,is way over exaggerated.half of what he says is basic academy classes.

You get a certificate after your one hour class on the topic.

But we will have to see just how involved he was in what he claims 25 years ago.

I’m sure he will answer all the questions we have.

Harrison most likely will spend a lot of money on his campaign but remember Money does not get votes

  25. McHenry Sheriff’s Department:

Basic Officer Training and here is the big plus: In House Academy
Is that the Nygren/Zinke in house academy?????????

  26. Harrison worked for Nygren………kinda says it all !

  27. Harrison has it all figured out with Nygren and Zinke, right from the get go……IF Harrison wins ( unlikely ), you will see Zinke as his undersheriff. Then, when Harrison retires, Zinke will slip back in…….back to square one. Vote for Bill Prim……Honest, With NO Ties To Nygren, Zinke , Gary Pack, etc.

  28. I wouldn’t even think of voting for anyone connected to Nygren/Zinke.
Do they think the people are stupid?.
If you want someone Republican and “Independent” with no ties to any corruption or the old regime vote Bill Prim and lets stop this control that has hung on for ever

  29. Happy Trails you’re probably right. I be it went like this–

NYGREN: “Jim we need you to file a Hatch Act complaint with USDOJ.”
ZINKE: “And anything you can do to expose my getting a major supporter out from under a DEA investigation would really help. That will make it easy for you to keep me on as Undersheriff.”
    HARRISON: “Uhmm?”
NYGREN: “And we’ll have Andy make obscene gestures at crowds of voters. That’s how you win votes.”
    HARRISON: “WTF?”
ZINKE: “What a great plan! I’m a lock for 2022!”
NYGREN: “We can prove Andy forged Obama’s birth certificate. We got video.”
    ZINKE” Goosie! I’ve got gooosies!”

  30. “Voter” That Just Joe is a real smooth talker and at best a master manipulator… We still have not seen the documents for the land deal…… Keep talking “Just Joe” your’e sounding more and more like a sales pitch that has no value but to discredit the truth… Corruption in McHenry County does exist. You just keep on talking brotha?

  31. Looks like Joey Boy doesn’t like answering questions and he avoids the truth.
What a bunch of nothing he wrote and wouldn’t touch any legitimate questions.
So far I see a bunch of bologna.

On a story posted on 4/22/2013 Harrison ,on the record, stated “I’m not a Democrat but then why does he vote democratic and why does he belong to the democratic party and why did he ask people to support and donate to the democratic party?
On the record Harrison also stated,”and now more than ever, it is clear that the Sheriff’s department needs my help again”
    Now how arrogant is that?
On the record Harrison said” I have accomplished everything I set out to accomplish as a lawyer and I am ready for a new challenge”
Is this a game and challenge to him? When he gets tired of it will he not care anymore about the citizens and move on?
Harrison moved on 25 years ago when he got in an accident and settled a workmens comp case with the Sheriff’s department and left. Was he tired of the department so soon,he could have

  32. Hi Dunk-

You have often spoken of corruption. You’ve claimed first hand knowledge. But you have never, ever, given proof. Did file a police report? The State’s Attorney, the FBI,wand the US Attorney would love you to come on in share what you know. What holds you back, fear, ignorance.

You made the claim that Harrison’s land deal was suspect. You need to just step forward and collect my $100. It yours show us some proof. Put on your big boy pants and show us what you know. Give us some of that truth you have.

But please stop fantasizing about my big, fat feet. Really, it’s weird.

  33. sorry, he could have stayed but sounded like he was bored and wanted a new challenge so he took the money and went to law school.
Now he has had enough of the law and accomplished what he wanted and wants another new challenge.
Sounds like it’s all about Jim Harrison and not the people of McHenry County.
I could be wrong but it doesn’t look like it since the statements came directly from Harrison.

  34. You know sometimes people wait for the right time to bring out proof. Timing is everything. Everyone also knows that Harrison is reading everything on this blog. Do not underestimate the public.
    Vote Prim

  35. Just Joe, How did Harrison’s Hatch Act against Zinke turn out ? Look at Cals blog …Jim Harrison Lays Out the Evidence that Andy Zinke Violated the Hatch Act Part 5…….also read the comments…..how well did that work out ?

  36. Looks to me that Harrison LOST that argument against Zinke but don’t worry
Harrison said he would use his law expertise to help the Sheriff’s department. If he can’t win at something as simple as that I wonder what his track record is in winning cases?
Gary Pack/Nygren/Zinke/Harrison now that is something I would want to stay away from and Harrison says he wants to stay away from politics.he was right in the middle of it.

  37. Hey Duncan, let Joe hold on to that 100 bucks so it can collect interest for a later date. l.o.l.

  38. Bill Prim camp…game on.

Jim Harrison is an outstanding candidate for the office of Sheriff of McHenry County.

He will bring relevant, professional experience to the office.

It was a pleasure to run into Jim’s volunteers who were out getting petitions signed.

They were pleasant, polite and enthusiastic.

It seems some people commenting on this blog about how many signatures he got are really threatened by just that….over 9,000 people are interested enough to put him on the ballot.

It would be in the best interest of our county for its’ citizens to take a close look at Mr. Harrison.

It’s refreshing to see a candidate who is willing to walk away from party politics as this county has known
    in the past.

Mr. Harrison, like many lawyers in the county has done professional work for the Sheriff’s Office and the State’s Attorney’s office during his career.

Those offices often hire outside counsel.

In this case, it is good that he brings this experience with him.

Selling a piece of property is an American right.

All Americans look try to get the best price for their property when they sell it.

That the County bought his property is relevant to the location of it, right across the street from their main buildings.

As a citizen of this county, my interest is in what a candidate would hope to do while in office, if elected.

I like what Jim Harrison’s platform is and I would advise everyone to look closely at it.

  39. “mml”, did you forget about the $2.8 million dollars that JH got from the county during the Pack states attorney days.

I’m sure he was worth that.

He has less police experience than most of the deputies.

And the experience he does have was from 25 years ago.

I think the county and police work has changed a little in the last quarter century.

We don’t need a lawyer as sheriff.

JH could not even win the Woodstock eavesdropping case, which should have been a slam dunk.

He is looking for a salary and a lifetime pension.

  40. What do you think people have been doing?

Looking at Harrison’s qualifications is proof enough that he is not qualified.

He is an lawyer plain and simple.

His law enforcement background is that of a cadet in basic training 25 years ago.

His work in the Pack/Nygren/Zinke clan is least to be desired and the land deal you know nothing about.

Harrison’s smile is not fooling anyone who really knows the past.
    A

  41. Oh and those signatures………. everyone will sign those but that doesn’t mean they are all excited about him running.

Are you kidding, they just sign so people will leave them alone.

Gee remember how disrespectful the Memorial Day Ceremony was interrupted.

Signatures were more important than peoples feelings.People can see through a smiling phony bologna.

  42. Sorry, but I have looked closely at Mr. Harrison……..

    I don’t like what I see……

He wanted to run with Prim and Zinke as a Republican…….

He asked people to donate money to the Democratic Party on his behalf…..switched to Independent….

is a lawyer who worked with Gary Pack and for Keith Nygren…who overcharged the county and had to return money….

he worked for the Sheriff’s Dept. for 7 yrs. 6 mos…….never went on a drug bust……never worked with customs…..never worked with FBI…..never was a Detective, or a leader of police… never worked undercover…….never led investigations……never went out of state on undercover stakeouts…….

he put on a uniform for less than 8 years ( rookie status )…..just a start…..he only walked away from Party Politics, as you say, because he wouldn’t have won up against Prim and Zinke, as a Republican…..and would not win as a Democrat…….

    Game On ?

This is NO GAME…..maybe to you and H supporters…..

Team Prim is only interested in Honesty, Dignity, Transparency !!!!!!!

  43. Jimbo,right on target.

I know more people that think the way you,Happy Trails, Duncan and I do.

But lets give credit where credit is due.

Mr. Harrison, in all fairness, will probably know more about how many pens and pencils to order, how much copy paper to order and ink toner to order.

When it comes to areas of the actual running of the various Sheriff’s units Harrison will have no clue.

Anyone running for any office has the same platform it is the experience to implement that is the key.

    Bill Prim has the experience.

  44. Voter and Happy Trails have all the facts covered.

Prim is the right person for the job…

Harrison does not bring the necessary experience to run the Sheriffs office.

He belongs in a lawyers office, not the Sheriffs Department….

That’s right Happy Trails, “Team Prim” stands for Honesty, Dignity and Transparency….

Those are the “KEY INGREDIENTS” to overcoming corruption in our community.

If the tax payers want a fair and equitable Government, Harrison is not the answer, Prim is….

I personally have had front row seating to corruption in McHenry County for decades, and it is time for change.

Voting for Prim means that the McHenry County Sheriffs office will be returned to the people.

I am of the opinion, that if Harrison is elected Harrison the Sheriffs Department will be kept from the people. Believe it…..

Further, Prim has no time or any interest in that famous over buttered popcorn or those famous Tv shows “Let’s Make a Deal” because “The Price is Right”

Those days are over with, once Prim takes office.

  45. This comment is also on other article but I think it is important to share.

Bill Prim is for the people of McHenry County

It is the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department

McHenry County meaning The People of McHenry County

The Sheriff’s Department meaning the department which serves the people

Bill Prim has the desire, the experience, the knowledge to do just that.

  46. Jimbo…

Jim Harrison practices in an area of law that would serve as an asset if working as a public administrator.

He has a degree in Finance.

    He has law enforcement experience.

Voters should look at the total package.

I’m guessing you are probably neither a lawyer nor a cop.

It would be difficult for you to evaluate a lawyers’ experience or to judge how many years someone needs to be on a police force before they have enough experience.

Mr. Harrison earned money doing work for the county.

The County willingly paid him to do work.

It appears that this is an issue thrown out to stir up controversy when there is none.

Most voters in this county are smart and they are tired of these antics.

We want to know what a potential candidate stands for and how they would like to achieve the goals they set in their platforms.

  47. First of all you only emphasize Harrison’s law experience.

No one will really dispute that.

It is how he used the law that people might question.

You definitely are not a cop, mml, as you put it.I can evaluate how long is long enough to be on a police force to have enough experience and let me tell you less than 8 yrs is not enough.

Not to effectively run a department and be able to relate to the Deputy Sheriff’s and lead and manage departments

As far as evaluating a lawyers experience> I have talked to many of my family members who are lawyers, cops, assistant states attorneys, judges and given an appellate court judge.

They have given me some incite.

  48. ‘mml” WRONG…. WRONG……. WRONG…..

Who cares if Harrison earned money doing work for the county…

The fact is, he purchased land next to the court house, and he has yet to provide the tax payers of McHenry County full disclosure of those transactions…

Not only should he provide the information on the land, but he should provide the financials of those transactions..

Harrison has been asked on several occasions for those documents for which he has yet to produce…

Further is is not difficult to evaluate how many years someone needs to be on the police force before they have enough experience. Prim surpasses Harrison, by far, in that respect.

The degree is meaningless when Prim has far more actual police experience…

When hiring people, in any arena, experience will always weigh more.

There are no antics regarding Harrison’s pay at the court house. Just because he worked at the court house does not mean he is the better candidate…

It is true that Harrison has direct links to Gary Pack, Keith Nygren and more, which makes him old baggage..

McHenry County’s “GREATEST” hope for change is with Bill Prim

  50. Very impressive list Duncan. Who can argue about that. Facts are facts.
What good is education without experience.

  51. Harrison’s argument that he has a degree is “NULL and VOID”

Prim brings experience and the opportunity to bring reform and change to McHenry County, that so many have waited for, for so long.,,,,,

Harrison is a lawyer and probably a good one, but he is no Sheriff and never will be….

  52. “mml” , when the fiscally responsible states attorney Bianchi took office he gave JH the boot for his excessive billing.

All those legal bills can be obtained through a FOIA request by anyone.

Was any of that money kicked back to Pack ?

    Hum, we may never know.

Why would Pack want an outside counsel to make more a year than he does ?

And for all the JH supporters who think his getting 9400 signatures is a big deal, it is not.

When you pay someone $2 a signature and you just sit on your ass it makes it a lot easier.

And as expected JH’s petitions were filled with dead people, people not registered to vote, people from out of the county, no such person at the address, duplicate signatures on different pages, signatures with no address at all, printed names, groups of printed names that looked like the same handwriting, pages of petitions not numbered correctly, etc.

If Prim were given more than five days to review the petitions and better access to the voter data, JH might find himself off the ballot.

  53. What kind of lawyer can’t number pages of paper from 1 to 954 without duplicating numbers.

I could do that when I was in second grade.

This guy has a finance degree ?

    Scary.

Must be more of the good ‘ole boy math.

Bring in $50 million dollars for the jail, but spend $80 million dollars to do it.

    DUH !

It’s what you net after expenses that counts, not what you bring in.

  54. We can ALREADY see that Jim Harrison and Kathy Marzano are spreading false allegations against Bill Prim on Harrison’s Facebook page.

See the difference between Prim and Harrison is Harrison is already desperate and spreading lies and Prim stands for the truth.

Sorry you have to resort to this and these statements were not only made by Harrisons supporters they were made directly from Harrison.

Prim will run a clean campaign and as you can see Harrison is all about dirty politics.

  55. Hi voter, I just looked at Harrison’s Facebook page, and I must be missing something, because I did not read any allegations against Bill Prim.

    What did they say?

  56. If you go to Harrison for Sheriff and hit facebook.

He talks about the new legislation regarding the warrant for cell phone.

Under that you see two comments made by Jim and Kathy.

To me there comments are untrue.

Kathy says, I agree, but I’m sure your opponent doesn’t think that way”(I don’t think Prim made any statements regarding the new law one way or another)

and then Jim writes”Just one more difference between me and my opponent” if Prim commented on this new law I would like them to produce Prim saying he was against the law.

  57. This question was posted on Harrison’s Facebook page:

“How would you know, you haven’t even asked him? Your story is misleading”…

    Let’s see how he responds..

  58. Speaking of posting…

I posted on Mr. Harrison’s website on June 9th.

My query is still in moderation to this date.

So much for being open and honest.

  59. Ok, lets look at the facts.

Since Harrison has a degree in Finance, then how come on November 17, 1998

McHenry County Board meeting that lasted for 140 minutes, he billed and was paid by the McHenry County $2,500.

    $2,500 for 2 hours 20 minutes, he gets paid $2,500 ?

Come on McHenry County residents, do you really want Nygren regime to have this lawyer run the MCSO as Sheriff ?…

How much would that cost us ?

No way, ..We the citizens of McHenry County want and deserve Mr. Bill Prim as our next Sheriff.

  61. Thanks Happy Trails.

Wow,all I can saw is wow, looks like the real story about Harrison is starting to come out.

Team Prim comes out with facts and Harrison and Kathy spread false comments.

Read these articles and see what you think.

Looks like there may be another channel 7 news story.

  62. So how much did Harrison make off the tax payers in McHenry County?

Looks like he didn’t care too much then so why should be care about the people now?

    I’m voting for Bill Prim

  63. Great info , Happy Trails !

I wonder how much Harrison charges per hour now?

    I don’t trust lawyers .

  64. Jimbo are you sure it was removed.

So many times I thought I posted a comment on one site and found it on another.

I know you are not saying anything bad about Cal but I applaud Cal for being responsible and checking things people write.

JImbo I thought I saw some of your comments on another article topic. I do agree with your comments.

  65. Jimbo, Did you click on older comments ?

Saw one from you on there

  66. Harrison’s Law degree won’t mean a thing if he is the Sheriff.

According to the State Statue, only the State’s Attorney can issue such legal advice for the county…….

I highly doubt if Bianchi would appoint Harrison “a special assistant state’s attorney”, which would erase the conflict.

Unless Harrison would hire ” Law Offices of Jim Harrison” for legal advice…… still conflict of interest…..or Double Duty Dipping….

  67. Sorry to say but the law can actually be used to do illegal things.

I think that may apply to the old Regime and who were the players in the old regime?

Follow the money and follow the players

  68. Words of Independent Wisdom from Harrison ” Sometimes the path we choose in life that is the most beneficial is the less-traveled path ”

Jerry Seinfeld ” Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason ”

Stick with what you know….stay on your chosen path…being a lawyer

Prim knows what path he’s on…..the path he’s known for years……experience counts !

    TEAM PRIM

  69. Jim Harrison and his wife show their true colors with smart ass answer to a bloggers question.

I would expect a person SO concerned about the citizens of McHenry County to NOT disrespect another by ending his response with a smart ass remark.

Mr. Harrison knows that some people do give their names because of retaliatory actions that might occur.

It does not mean they are hiding because Cal can give your identity under certain circumstances.

Jim Harrison to come right out and insult someone just because they write on a blog really shows his true self.

By saying ” GO back to your blog” which was written by himself shows lake of concern for the tax payers and he wants people to vote for him after he says that.

He lied about Bill Prim and if he lied once he will lie again to the people of McHenry County.

  70. Please go to older comments,as it will explain my comments.

It is plain to see that Harrison does not like bloggers.

Gee maybe it is because he wants the people to know only what he wants to tell them.

The blog is bringing up facts, news paper articles and things he doesn’t want the people to know about.

These articles, opinions, and facts are for the reader to investigate and read and they can come to their own conclusions.

  71. Jim Harrison responds to me on facebook–>

Jim Harrison for McHenry County Sheriff Duncan McHenry, “Facebook is a community where people use their real identities. We require everyone to provide their real names, so you always know who you’re connecting with. This helps keep our community safe.”

    Go back to your blog.

Duncan McHenry Come on Jim, Man up and provide the land records…

We would also like the information on how much profit was made on that land deal…..

    Your’e a Lawyer.

Therefore, you know that depositions would give us all the information we wanted…

Even though we may already have the records for public viewing, you would still be required to answer the questions.

How much did you make on that land deal Jim?

    Just asking

How much do you want to bet that Jim Harrsion will continue to dodge the difficult questions?

The people of McHenry County have the right to know all about that land deal…

  72. Ask yourself..why wouldn’t Harrison talk about the land deal?

    Something to hide?

Something he doesn’t want anyone to know about?

Oh but we must all remember,Harrison won’t bother with any low life bloggers and “We should go back to our blog and not approach him” Hmmmmmmm

How many citizens of McHenry County do you think read Cal’s blog a day?

Not everyone comments but how many do you think read these comments?

Gee Jim the citizens that pay taxes should be treated with more respect.

  73. The audience for this blog reaches many and has a very captivated audience ,that includes people from Illinois and from across the country.

    Yes indeedy.

Harrison has had many, many months to produce those records and from what I can see on this blog, he has many making others providing excuses as to why the documents have never been produced…
