When your scheduled pick-up time arrives, meet the MCRide bus at the curb and enjoy the trip to your destination. MCRide is a shared-ride service, so you may even meet a new friend along the way!

The service operates Monday-Friday, 6 am to 7 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. The MCRide Rider’s Guide with full program details is available for download on the Village’s website at www.village.lakewood.il.us.

Dial-a-Ride for Lakeswood Forty Years after RTA Referendum’s Passage — 2 Comments

  1. Does Lakewood, with a population of 3,811 in 2010 and a village of less than 4 square miles, have ANY residents who will use this service?

How about providing public transportation for those in McHenry County who NEED public transportation? !!!

The problem is that the poor and the needy don’t have a VOICE in McHenry County!

  2. How about leaving taxi service to private sector cabbies?
