Not only will the Republican candidate for Governor, Bruce Rauner be participating in Crystal Lake’s 4th of July Parade on Sunday, but so will Congressman Peter Roskam.

The parade starts at one and goes the entire length of Dole Avenue, which used to be a railroad track to the Dole Mansion and beyond on Lake Avenue to bring ice from the lake to the Chicago and Northwestern main line for transport to Chicago.
