  1. What is the community importance of this?

This is insignificant …. like some goat escaping from a barnyard or somebody ‘winning’ a $10 Lottery Prize.

  2. The community importance of this is how efficient our Fire Departments are and along with tax payers money they are very dedicated men/women.

As far as that goat escaping………..

I’ll go look for it Old Man.

  3. Oh, OK ….Yeah, this is really vital news, so sorry ……. maybe somebody will start posting things like how a public school HS counselor actually assisted a kid getting into college ….. or how a water works muni employee successfully fixed a hydrant leak …..

People don’t come here for irrelevant stories ….we can get an unlimited supply of those from the NOrthworst Herald!

  4. Read the “about” section, Old Man.

    It’s Cal’s blog.

He can do or say whatever he feels like.

  5. Actually Cindy,……. he can’t ……. there are a host of topics that can’t be touched, regardless of what Cal ‘feels like’ doing or saying.

That’s what political correctness is all about.

Orwell’s thesis as to how the meaning of words and the abasement of language can shift the focus of thought is being borne out in this degenerate age …….

  6. OldMAn.if you don’t like it, don’t read it.

We all love Cal and he posts all different things of interest.

    Thank you Cal……….
