  1. Congratulations on your 100,000 meals to Haiti.

God has used the people of your church to feed the hungry in Haiti.

He definitely will say ” Good and faithful servants to you all.

  2. Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, “If the race id good, so is the place.”

Yes, by all means send Haiti more meals ….in fact let’s boost its population up another 20 million ….then take them all in under a new amnesty plan. It’ll be so wonderful!

  3. There are hungry people in this county and this country.

How about thinking about them first?

  4. Late every Sunday afternoon, the Methodist Church in Crystal Lake holds a community dinner. Attendance is not large.

In addition every Friday 10-11, a truck from the Northern Illinois Food Banks brings 5-6 pallets of food from Jewel, Meier, Walmart, etc., for distribution. (Location will be changed sometime in Sept.) Lots of produce, more bread and dessert products than are taken, last week meat.

Finally, the third Saturday of the month (this Saturday), a Food Bank truck brings food to our parking lot at Dole and Crystal Lake Avenue.
