  1. Stanard and Everard have ‘agendas’ other than ‘serving’ the people.

Alger is ‘one stand up guy’ who will actually WORK on behalf of the people.

  2. Is Joe Algers the same person as Joe Alger, husband of local Tea Party supporter and bee-hive-hairdo aficionado Mary Alger?

  3. I certainly hope so, Mark; but why would you be snarky about a woman’s hairdo?

  4. Seen Mary Alger more times than I can count.

    Goes to my church.

    NEVER saw a behive!

    Mark, get some class.

  5. Lets hope he is one and the same, Mark!

Both husband and wife are stand up, honest, hard working ETHICAL people.

    Alger’s got my vote!

  6. Mark McGuire how interesting that you would bring up my hair on a blog.

How very masculine of you to disparage a woman whose husband is stepping up to serve the people of McHenry County.

I’m going to assume by your childish and sarcastic post that you are not sitting on any ethics board.

The first thing my husband would teach you about ethics is #1 You never go after a man’s wife.

    He’s old school like that.

By the way Audrey Hepburn’s beehive in Breakfast at Tiffany’s is CLASSIC so I’ll take your backhanded jab as a compliment!

    Thank you!

  7. I don’t care what a person is running for………. wives/husbands and kids. are off limits
