473 Illegals Went from County Jail to ICE over 53-Months

With national media talking about President Barack Obama thinking hard about using Executive Branch powers to address immigration reform, I asked the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office to provide information about the number of people who went from the County Jail to the ICE floor.

You can see the monthly results since the program started in April, 2010, below:

Illegals 4-10 through 8-14Numbers pummeled starting in mid-2012, shortly before the Presidential election.

  1. Furthermore, just because they were transferred to ICE doe not mean they were deported.

Yesterday I heard ‘the loose goose’ Gutiérrez again state that the current President has deported record numbers of illegal aliens.

This is beyond a distortion! http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/12/deportations-come-mostly-from-border-dhs-chief-say/

When someone is denied entry at the southern border, THAT IS COUNTED AS A DEPORTATION!

In addition, convicted illegal alien criminals are not always deported (as required by law).

In all, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) freed 36,007 aliens convicted of 88,000 crimes from detention centers throughout the United States, according the breathtaking agency records, which were obtained this month by a nonpartisan research center dedicated to studying immigration issues.

  2. Can someone tell me what is broke about our current immigration laws besides the enforcement?

  3. Since these immigration detainees stay at MCSD for a relatively short time, a more likely explanation for these numbers is that the average number of detainees retained per month by MCSD during that time period is 9.

So how much does it cost to house an average of 9 detainees per month?

Oh, that’s right- the shaved monkeys who are responsible for that information can neither read or write- the most plausible reason for the lack of a budget, or any defensible documentation of spending.

    Or massive fraud.

  4. And let us not forget that the drop in detainee numbers that Cal is citing occurred precisely when other regional facilities began accepting detainees.

  5. @resident, I am not sure what you are asking but if enforcement is not occurring than the system is broke!

You don’t need any other reason.

That is like saying well if people killing others and we are not enforcing the law what else is wrong.

It doesn’t matter especially if you have illegals in custody or know of where they are you should go enforce the law.

If we knew where killers were but didn’t go get them to enforce the law why do we even have laws?

So the answer is what is broke is enforcing our laws when people get caught or are known to be illegals should be deported.

Unless “Congress” passes new laws and not an illegal “Presidential Executive Order” then we can go by those laws.

But until that happens enforce the ones you have on the books!

  6. Live, my point is there should not be new laws but start enforcing the current ones; to me that does not mean the current laws are broke; the only thing that is broke are politicians who do not want to enforce them because of votes.

  7. Resident on, you are 150% correct.

It all boils down to politics ,plain and simple.

To the politicians it is the votes that count.

  8. Is the press conference scheduled for tomorrow a cover for a sudden surge in “refugees” from Syria? http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/dpb/2014/09/231285.htm#SYRIA

QUESTION: Marie, on the Syrian refugees, how many refugees did the U.S. resettle now from the Syrians?

    MS. HARF: So since —

QUESTION: Since the crisis till now?

MS. HARF: Since 2011, it’s 166. But again, part of this is there are several thousand in the pipeline now because the UN just started referring large numbers to the U.S. for resettlement. They’re the ones who run this resettlement process for countries across the world. So that number will go – continue to go up.

    Yes.

  9. I wonder if Gutierrez and that other garbage pail Munoz, went back into business again with their $3 M a year fake document business, now that Munoz’s slimy father is out of jail now.

Fitzgerald has to be still kicking himself, for these two fish that got away.

  10. Just look at what happened when we allowed 1,000’s of Somalians here, mostly in Minneapolis.

Ask anyone who lives there how that’s going.

    A big hub for terrorists.

  11. who do I contact to tell that The Pickaway County jail in Circleville Ohio 43113

theyre keeping illegals in a space for long periods but have let others go because of over crowded, I’ve read their jail information , holding for other jurisdictions.

ive heard 7 men illegals are being kept and not turned over to ICE because of the extra monies the County receives, let alone making contacts for mules with local residents when they get out.
