Crystal Lake Police Arrest Two Suspects for Burglary to Harvest Bible Chapel Church
On September 11th, 2014, at around 12:40 am, Crystal Lake Police responded to the Harvest Bible Chapel Church, 580 Tracy Trail, after receiving a report of a possible burglary in progress.
Once on scene, officers discovered a shattered glass door.
Shortly thereafter, two individuals, a male and a female, were seen fleeing from the building.
After a brief foot pursuit, the male and female were taken into custody without further incident.
Police recovered property stolen from the church nearby.
Further investigation revealed the church likely sustained thousands of dollars in property damage.
The recovered stolen property was also worth a considerable sum.
Arrested in this case were:

Zachary D. Armijo (24) of Woodstock, IL. He was charged with:

Brianna J. Villalobos (21) of Woodstock, IL. She was charged with:

Burglary, a Class 1 Felony

Theft, a Class 1 Felony

*All charges were upgraded as the crimes occurred in a place of worship, defined as an aggravating factor in the associated Illinois Compiled Statutes.
As these arrests involve felony offenses, both subjects were transported to the McHenry County Jail where custody was transferred, and bond will be set by a presiding Judge.
