McHENRY POLICE ARREST 1 FEMALE FOR PROSTITUTION IN CONNECTION WITH MASSAGE THERAPY BUSINESS
John Jones, Chief of Police of the McHenry Police Department, announced today the arrest of one female adult in connection with a prostitution investigation.

JING HUANG (age 41, DOB 7/6/1973) of 719 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, Illinois was arrested on
09/17/2014, without incident by the McHenry Police Department.
On September 17th, 2014 the McHenry Police Department’s Investigation Division and Street
Crimes Unit conducted an undercover operation at the Spiritual Spa located at 719 Ridgeview
Drive in McHenry Illinois.
The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of illegal prostitution occurring at the place of business.
During the operation, Jing Huang, an employee of the business knowingly offered to perform a
sexual act on an undercover officer in exchange for money.
Jing Huang was taken into custody and processed at the McHenry Police Department. Huang was charged with the following criminal offense:
- 1 Count of Prostitution (Class A Misdemeanor)
Huang posted the required $1,000 / 10% bond and was released with a Branch 1 Court date of October 15th, 2014.
The registered owner of the business Jue Wang (of Chicago) and the listed manager Yanping Xiu (of Chicago) were not on site at the time of the arrest. Both Wang and Xiu were served noticed by the City of McHenry for violation of McHenry Municipal Code in reference to Massage Establishments and Massage Therapists.
A hearing with the City will be held to determine the future status of the business license issued to Spiritual Spa at 719 Ridgeview Drive. The business has been closed by the McHenry Police until said hearing is concluded.
The investigation into the business is still open at this time.
