GOP Attorney General Candidate Talks of Tribune Endorsement Interview

Paul Schimpf

Paul Schimpf

Here’s the email that arrived today from Paul Schimpf, the Republican candidate for Attorney General:

I hope you had a chance to watch the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board yesterday.  Despite only receiving 1/3 of the speaking time, not having the opportunity to make a closing statement, and having the moderator admit to wishing that Lisa could be governor (yes, you read that correctly), I still brought forth three crucial, undisputed facts:

1.  Illinois has become more corrupt and dysfunctional over the past 12 years.
2.  Lisa Madigan has a reactive approach, instead of a proactive strategy, to fighting corruption.
3.  Lisa Madigan was in a position to stop the NRI shenanigans … and did nothing.

Those facts may not seem important to the media or our political elites, but to the rest of us they represent the sad reality of an Illinois Attorney General’s Office that is ignoring the number one threat our state faces–government corruption.

We can win this election because the people of Illinois know that we need more from the Attorney General’s Office and our government.

We need your help, though, to get that message out.  Please donate today to help pay for the radio advertisements and friend-to-friend cards that will help us do that.  Anything you can do will help. $50, $25, even $10 will help us reach our goal and get out our message.

Cheers and S/F,
Paul

  1. Anyone involved in politics should be aware by now that the Democrat machine is just that – a machine. http://pjmedia.com/jchristianadams/2014/09/17/obamas-catalist-database/

The reason a third party will never come to power without violent revolution is that ‘the machine’ works in conjunction with most components of the GOP.

    Not all, but most.

Just look at what happened in Mississippi and other locations which had an excellent conservative running against the incumbent.

Rauner thought he could buy the governor seat.

Interestingly, the Green party is booted off the ballot, but the Libertarian is left on.

This blog just ran an article which almost ensures four more years of Quinn.

Schimpf is by far the best candidate but he does not have the backing of the millions dollars needed to beat the machine.

Rauner has a background which makes him less attractive to people who do not vote in primaries and his spouse is ensuring that conservatives stay home during the election or they vote for the Libertarian.

Unless conservative voters wake up and go to the polls to vote for Schimpf and Rauner, we are ensured of more years of Quinn and Lisa.

Let us pray the Prim team keeps pounding the pavement to at least get a Sheriff who works for the people locally.

Even in County Board D-1, Gasser is up against the collusion between the Miller family which claims to be Republican and the Democrat candidate.

Picture of the Miller truck with a Democrat sign on it was posted on this blog.

Illinois will remain under the control of the Democrats UNLESS conservatives vote for Republican candidates.

A vote for the Libertarians is a vote for the Democrats.
