As a mortgage broker and caregiver of a special needs son, Denise had little interest in politics.

While trying to keep families in their homes, she watched the market crash in October, 2008; recognizing that our legislators in D.C. knew the crisis was inevitable due to the laws that they themselves had passed.

On that momentous day, February 19, 2009, Denise watched Rick Santelli rant “The government is promoting bad behavior! How many of you want to pay your neighbors mortgage?”

She got online and joined the first voices in the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party movement.

She held her first tea party in Lisle, IL on April 15, 2009; and when hundreds of citizens drove hours to attend the rally, she knew Americans would not tolerate the unsustainable spending in our country.

Denise speaks with reason and common sense through her simple message of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets. Join us for lunch and hear about the key and most serious issues we face here in Illinois and across America, from knowledgeable sources of authority and respect. Be here and be informed.

  1. Santelli’s rant on the MERC floor, was the single best piece of spontaneous journalism/commentary on bad public policy, I had ever seen.

After the MSM got through with it, showing gun toting nitwits at events and a few years of lib econ hero Krugman spinning the rhetoric.

All that’s left is exactly what you see in Cal’s pic.

The message is as dead as dead.

  2. The reason why it’s dead as a movement isn’t because of 2nd Amendment people, Mr. Traeger, it’s because so many rats scurried out of their ratholes to deliberately mislead the movement into dead-ends.

When new expressions of political resistance to Washington, Dist. of Corruption inevitably spring up as the country centripetally spins apart …. watch out.

People are waking up as to who the real problems are that have parasitized us into crazy wars, lying MSM, whore-politicians, etc.

  3. How is the message dead if Republicans are poised to take control of the Senate?

  4. What is it with these people and the Golden Corral?

It’s as if they don’t want people to take them seriously.

  5. …But if they went to a nice place people would attack them as being rich out of touch yuppies, so they can’t win.

Golden Corral is cheap eats and it also has a lot of seating.
