Taylor Nesbit New Assistant State’s Attorney in Criminal Division

MCHENRY COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE WELCOMES TAYLOR A. NESBIT TO THEIR CRIMINAL DIVISION

Louis A. Bianchi, McHenry County State’s Attorney, is pleased to announce that Taylor Nesbit has joined the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Criminal Division effective September 29, 2014.

Ms. Nesbit was employed for the past two years as a contract attorney for Mayer Brown LLP where she represented numerous clients, including Kerstein, Coren & Lichtenstein LLP, WilmerHale, American Tower Corporation, and The Debt Exchange.

Taylor received hands-on experience in criminal prosecution while interning at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Ms. Nesbit received her Juris Doctor in May, 2012, from the New England School of Law in Boston, MA. While in law school, Taylor was the Associate Editor-in-Chief of their publication, Due Process.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, cum laude, from Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, New York.
