Nunda Joins Pace McRide Network

Nunda Township partners with McRide

Crystal Lake, IL – October 6, 2014 Nunda Township Supervisor’s Office has joined with Nunda Township Road District to expand Nunda’s current bus program. Starting October 1, 2014,

ALL Nunda Residents now have access to McRide.

McRide is a community bus service made available through the partnership of McHenry County, Pace Suburban Bus; the cities of Crystal Lake, McHenry, Woodstock and Lakewood; and the Townships of Dorr, Greenwood, McHenry and now Nunda.

McRide provides curb-to-curb service and their vehicles include wheelchair lifts. Seniors and people with a disability will receive discounted fares on McRide.

To schedule a trip with McRide please call 1-800-451-4599; (TTY 1-888-454-4724) one day before you need a ride.

  • $250 per month for Road District

  2. Just another lame attempt to make costly, do-nithuing townships seem relevant and/or cost effective in the 21st Century!

    BTW, Ms. Jennings: What was your total expense accout (in addition to your bloated salary) for fy 2013???

    Inquiring minds want to know.
