Order Allows South High School Bleachers to Stay

The 2nd Appellate Court granted Crystal Lake High School District 155’s Motion for Stay Judge Mike Chmiel’s order to tear down the bleachers at South High School.

There was a “but” in the order, however.

The stay be lifted as soon as the Supreme Court denies the petition to appeal.

This 2nd Appellate Court Order means the bleachers at South High School can stay up until the Illinois Supreme Court tells District 155 that it will not hear its appeal.

This means that they won’t be coming down December 1st, and that any demolition will be put on hold until after the Illinois Supreme Court has weighed in on the case.

  1. Don’t you all just love those high taxes?

The people are paying for this litigation.

It’s time to start asking for some resignations!

  2. Thank your fellow voters (and registered voters who will not take the time to investigate the candidates or vote) who have shown their absolute ignorance by voting Durbin into office for another six years and passing two Constitutional amendments AND voting yes on all the questions posed by the Democrats.

You will not see any resignations and next election there same stupid ignorant voters will elect the same people.

Face it: You live amongst the most ignorant people in the world!!

  3. Hoping the Supreme court denies their petition and they are all voted out.

Shame on the district for continuing this fight and not going before the zoning board.

Shame on the people blaming the homeowners.

    They did nothing wrong here.

  4. The law will be decided by the Supreme Court, not the ethics tainted Schlmiel using his position to pay off his political debts, again.

It will end up costing the Taxpayers lots to pay off a few landlords. They should be accountable.
