Those Interested Enough in Running for School Board to Pick Up Petitions — 5 Comments

  1. Why would Lori McConville resign and then run in the very next election cycle? I’m confused

  2. McConville signed the legal pad to run for re-election on October 6, 2014 and her resignation letter is dated November 11, 2014.

Maybe she decided to resign between October 6 – November 11, and will not run for re-election.

  3. Nippersink Dist 2 School Board President Bert Irslinger is ensuring he remains in power.

His wife is running for the same school board.

Gee, I wonder what they are planning on doing with the $10,000,000 that school board has hoarded?

  4. Doesn’t seem right for a husband and wife to be on the same school board, even if it’s legal and there’s no board policy against it.

Maybe she was picking up the petition for him.

Guess we’ll find out when they turn in the petitions.

A few of the names are current or former teachers and administrators with overly generous salaries and pensions thanks to overly generous collective bargaining agreements, contracts, and legislative benefit hikes.

  5. All the complaints about D155 and only two people picked up petitions.

Put your effort where your mouth is.

I plan to get involved once my last child graduates.

I don’t think it’s fair to my kids to run while they are still in school.

One vote against the teachers, and my childs chance at Harvrd is gone.
