ACTS is Coming to Huntley

Harvard, IL – November 12, 2014 – Founded in 1949, Adult & Child Therapy Services (ACTS) has provided physical, speech and occupational therapies to men, women and children in Woodstock for 65 years. Starting Monday,

12,151 Regency Parkway, Huntley

December 1 ACTS will bring these services to Huntley with its first satellite location at 12151 Regency Parkway.

ACTS opens its doors on December 1 from 1 – 5pm and is offering free Fall Risk Assessments to Huntley residents.

Appointments for this event can be scheduled by calling 815-338-1707. Therapists will be at this event to provide answers to any questions about the facility and additional therapies offered at ACTS.

“I can’t imagine a stronger way to celebrate our 65th anniversary then to open a second facility in a new community” said Lori Harms, President of ACTS’ Board of Directors.

“My dad was one of the two founders of this organization when it was Easter Seals, and I know he is looking down and smiling on us today.”

ACTS’ mission to inspire hope, develop independence and promote well-being in patients and their families through one-on-one physical, speech and occupational therapy is a promise to the families and communities they serve on a daily basis.

Adult & Child Therapy Services provides physical, speech and occupational therapy to more than 300 men, women and children of all ages. This year, more than 150 children under the age of three will receive service from ACTS. More than 100 seniors will come for therapy, fall risk assessments and individualized exercise programs.
