As I was changing planes in Cleveland, I noticed the Cleveland Plain Dealer on a newsstand. (That’s the paper I used to glance at in the Oberlin College Library from 1960-64.)
The article you see below caught my attention:
Permission for red light cameras was not repealed, but a requirement that a policeman be present was added.
Maybe there is hope for State Senator Dan Duffy’s campaign to take away the cash cow aspects of the program.
About 5 or so years ago Dan Duffy was quoted in the newspaper about traffic surveillance cams and what a scam they were.
That evening I went to his website and made my first political donation.
