Not long after there was a Cal Skinner, Jr., his father worked his father’s Maryland farm with a mule. Roy Skinner was sick that summer and couldn’t do the work himself.

John Kass had a column Friday in which he focused on Chicago mayoral candidate Willie Wilson’s having used a mule to plow cotton fields in Louisiana.
