Pot Arrest in Crystal Lake — 13 Comments

  1. WOW, by that picture it sure looks like he was under the influence of pot.

I hope the pot and drug paraphernalia was in plain view.

  2. Looks like a complete setup.

    Family intervention?

It also looks like he has a sense of humor and did the wild eyes on purpose.

    Nobody looks like that.

  3. This SCARES me.

So, the CLPD is “called” by some family member for a “medical emergency call”.

Then, NO ONE is found at home.

    There was NO medical emergency.

    Who made the call?

    Why?

So, officer Dziewior – who is a VERY SHADY AND DUBIOUS CHARACTER – reports that an arrest is made in that home about a completely incidental finding.

    What was it?

    A dead body?

A lab to create weapons of mass destruction?

No, Marijuana plants were found…..OMG !!!!

Marijuana plants that the State of Illinois now wants to make LEGAL.

What a joke. I believe the CLPD targeted this man.

Was there a medical emergency in the home?

No……. in fact NO-ONE apparently was home!!!!!

And people wonder why Police are HATED.

This should strike FEAR in everyone.

  4. Officer Dziewior also stated that two of his officers were on foot patrol at Sam’s Club, when in fact they were stalking one of citizens.

Generally, referred to as stalking with a badge.

Smells like “BO” to me…. Inside joke for the “DANNY BOY” Agree, Dziewior is shady and dubious.

The Pillsbury Dough boy makes lots of dough over there!

  5. ILLNOIS STATE CONSTITUTION

SECTION 1. INHERENT AND INALIENABLE RIGHTS
All men are by nature free and independent and have certain inherent and inalienable rights among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To secure these rights and the protection of property, governments are instituted

SECTION 2. DUE PROCESS AND EQUAL PROTECTION
No person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law nor be denied the equal protection of the laws.

    U.S. CONSTITUTION BILL OF RIGHTS.

AMENDMENT 4. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

It seems like what one might look like when there constitutional rights have just been used as toilet paper.

The entire situation seems SO fishy.

Not that I am surprised though.

The CLPD is notorious for questionable tactics, illegal searches, miss use of police resources and outright misconduct, or maybe a more suiting term would be Conduct Unbecoming.

The men and women of the CLPD took an OATH TO PRTECT AND SERVE.

There is simply no reason for this extreme waste of the Counties resources, our tax dollars and more important there are real criminals out there.

I feel horrible for there victims.

god only knows what actual crimes were committed while im sure half the CLPD was standing around a mans home most likely congratulating themselves on what basically seems like an officer tripping and falling into a pot plant.

    That is surely news worthy..?

Since I originally read this story i wondered why it ranked an actual page story in the Northwest Herald?

Did the paper even do its due diligence?

Did they even attempt to speak with the only victim in the story? (yes the defendant is the VICTIM.)

And If they have not spoken with the victim then why not?

It is not only horrible writing but it is simply NOT AMERICAN.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty, probable cause, our state and federal right to privacy, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

Pot is now legal in the US capitol!

    really think about that…

I heard this guy could get 5 years!!!!

    WTF!

I am appalled at this story. and the direction this country is headed when the only victim is also the defendant in said “crime”.

The only other victims here are the rest of us.

This only reinforces the fear people have for the police.

This situation stinks of an overzealous power drunk police force.

It is all of our duties to police them right back.

Remember THE POLICE WORK FOR YOU the citizen.

I hope they realize that sooner than later.

Its not a club or fraternity it is a sacred duty ordered to protect us from those who would make us victims.

    Oh and fill quotas…
