Among the nominations for offices that need to be confirmed by the Illinois State Senate was one for Scott Summers.

Summers, an attorney from Harvard who has served as President of the McHenry County College Board and who is running for Trustee again, has been nominated twice by Governor Pat Quinn.

The first resulted in confirmation.

The second has been withdraw from consideration, as you can see below:

Summers Public Guardian nomination withdrawn

Summers will remain in the post until a successor is confirmed.

  1. Summers is one of the creepiest, strangest and ultra-liberal persons I’ve ever met in McHenry County.

    Good work Rauner ….

    but I fear there are many, even possibly worse than him, parasitizing Illinois government at all levels …..
