State of the State Bingo

A Republican with a sense of humor akin to McHenry County Democratic Party Chairman Mike Bissett’s (think of his 2008 McHenry County Monopoly–if you have not seen this, you should look at it) sent me five 2015 State of the State Bingo cards.

I think they are worth reproducing.

People were supposed to play the game during the State of the State Speech Wednesday.

The first three people to get Bingo and tweet it to the Rauner folks would get a “No More Chronies” tee shirt.
Cronies, no t-shirt
We missed our chance.

  1. Those were out 3 or 4 years ago and they were Obama Bingo cards

    Hey it’s from a democrat..nothing original here

  2. uggh… most the people who pay attention have either moved or are planning on moving out of this state.

Hearing his proposals didn’t make me feel too good.

They were kind of a mix of good and bad.

Then I started thinking about the legislators and realized that the positive things he wanted to do won’t be considered, the negative ones have some shot of passing, and the elephants in the room will just sit in the corner.

I guess you have to do this bingo stuff and have a sense of humor otherwise you’ll get depressed thinking about how poorly this state is run and how bleak its future is.

  3. As we all fight amongst the bottom 99% and the top 1% laugh along with their cronies remember what happened before WW! and 2.

A Lutheran Pastor wrote this poem in 1892 in Germany. He was arrested by the Nazis during WW2.

First They Came for the Jews

    by Martin Niemöller

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left
    to speak out for me.

We can all blame each other while we become serfs again living in houses owned, buying from store, and being indebdted to the Company (1%).

You may think this is a joke but in Reagan’s tax plan Forbes richest went from $200 million in assets to $400 million then in the 1990’s they went to hundreds of millions and now they own more than 1/2 of the U.S.
