  1. The Press release says the 2 deputies were battered as if it were an established fact.

I thought people were innocent until proven guilty …….

I guess that was the old days when the Constitution was still somewhat paid heed …….

  2. Old man winter as usual speaks hot air.

5 firefighter/paramedics were on scene and called the police for help.

The police don’t allege charges they report them.

Have you ever read the constitution?

  3. The police weren’t called….it was a 911 phone call for HELP!!!

    The police automatically show up.

And it’s not a felony charge don’t believe everything you read.

  4. And obviously if he was on a lot of pills he was not himself, in a right state of mind….what happened to maybe oh, compassion for the situation….

No let’s be a**holes and add stress to an already difficult situation and arrest the ones that need help.

  5. I find it truly hard to understand how a person who overdoses on prescription meds and is obviously not in a normal state of mind can be charged seems like Milwaukee wis all over again except this time the cops didn’t kill a mentally I’ll person come on Jesse Jackson we need you even though this man is white it still is discrimination against the mentally impaired

  6. Why don’t you yo ho’s read the article again. If there was a law regarding being stupid you all would be arrested.

Is it better to handcuff a person for their own safety and others,or is it better to let the person take the officers weapon and shoot everyone in the room?

  7. Who are you to call anyone stupid???

I’m just saying all these charges are not necessary.

If they had to use handcuffs because it’s five against one and they are scared then fine.

But he needed help not this.

  8. That day sucked big for me. I had taken medication that was prescribed to me 3 weeks earlier.

I had a bad reaction to the medication which made me intoxicatingly incompetent.

That day this happen, the cops should have called crisis or atleast the paramedics should of called them.

Anyway, I had shitty mchenry county defense following that day. I spent 2.5 months in jail followed by probation.

The state said “no jail, no probation, just take one small felony and go home”.

    I said NO.

I wanted a fair trial because I felt i was not in a right state of mind.

    Nope, I got fucked.

Now I can’t even get a seasonal job.

That day is a blur because I can’t remember what really happened.

    I don’t drink so alcohol wasn’t a factor.

I was never a felon before that day.

I take medication to lead a normal live.

I didn’t abuse my medication, took only as prescribed.

Now I have to decide if killing my liver and kidneys just to go home a felon is worth controlling bipolar.

    Here’s some advice world…

    DONT TOUCH THE ANIMALS.
