WRITE-IN CANDIDATES FORGE AHEAD

Last month, Jim Cosler and Kimberly Covelli completed their write-in candidate filings for Village of Cary Trustee.

With three open seats, both of them hope to each gain a seat in the upcoming April election.

As write-in candidates, Cosler and Covelli are facing an uphill battle but both candidates are forging full-steam ahead.

Cosler and Covelli decided it was necessary to get involved in their community to ensure progress was moving in the right direction.

Both candidates value the importance of backing the message of the constituents and with that in mind, both pledge to listen and support the community.

The message of open, honest, and transparent government was assured over the past several years but has not been delivered as promised.

Like most residents, Cosler and Covelli want the Village of Cary to be revered as a highly sought family and business friendly community.

Cosler’s lived in Cary for the past 13 years and is a dedicated father to two girls. \\

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Aviation Management with a minor in Business Management.

For over 23 years, Cosler’s worked as a commercial pilot. He holds a number of certifications including that of a fully certified flight instructor.

Cosler is an avid reader and athlete. He enjoys running and has competed numerous races including the Cary Hillstriders Half Marathon and the Chicago Marathon.

Covelli, also a proud Cary resident, is married with two young children.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology as well earned her Master of Business Administration degree.

Covelli has worked in local government for nearly 13 years, and throughout her career, she’s received a number of certifications and awards.

Covelli’s passion for community service has guided her career, and ultimately steered her into her current position overseeing community relation events.

Cosler and Covelli would love to discuss their candidacy in person and will be at Cary’s Community Showcase on Saturday, March 7th from 10 am to 4 pm. For additional information, please check out their websites listed below.

  1. Glad, that you put that on there because a lot of people don’t know what a write in candidate is…..

    It is many of the the write in candidates, that will continue to help us create change in our County.

  2. It’s about time someone stands up to the mayor and his cronies.
