A press release from the Crystal Lake Police Department:
ROBBERY CHASE BANK
Crystal Lake Chase bank robber.
On March 21st, 2015, at approximately 11:07 a.m., Crystal Lake Police were dispatched to the Chase Bank, located at 1185 South Route 31, Crystal Lake for a reported robbery.
Upon arrival, police were advised that the suspect had entered the bank and displayed a note to a teller demanding cash.
The suspect did not display a weapon during the incident.
Witness accounts indicated that after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene in a black colored SUV which was described as possibly a Nissan Rogue and was last observed northbound on Route 31 from the area.

Witnesses described the suspect as white female, in her mid-thirties, between 5’4” and 5’7” tall, 160-200 pounds, with dark colored hair.
The female suspect was further described to be wearing a three quarter length black windbreaker style jacket with a hood, a black colored hat, eyeglasses, black pants and black athletic shoes with white soles.
The suspect also carried a pink purse or handbag. Captured surveillance images of the suspect have been attached to this release.
