Kimberly A. Covelli and James L. “Jim” Cosler ran grass roots write-in campaigns for the Cary Village Board.

The McHenry County Clerk’s Office has not yet allocated the huge number of write-in ballots for

  • Jim Cosler
  • Kimberly  Covelli

but I’d be willing to bet money that they end up winners.

It the write-in votes are split in half, both candidates would have more votes and anyone on the Cary Village Board ballot.

Those on the ballot who will not make the Village Board are

  • Erin Hauck
  • Steven J. Degnan-Schmidt

Cary votes for Trustee by precinct.
