Teachers at Crystal Lake High School District had three candidates they wanted to elect.

They were

  • Amy Blazier
  • Brian Pelz
  • Adam Guss

They succeed in placing two out of three on the District 155 Board, plus one they most wanted to elect to the Crystal Lake Grade School Board–Curt Wadlington.

Former State Rep. Rosemary Kurtz, a former teacher, was the reason that the teachers’ union did not win all three.

Kurtz came in second, following Blazier, but ahead of Guss.  Pelz’ votes were just short of Guss.

Over 22,000 people voted.
