Got this email about a car fire today in Woodstock, plus the photos below:

Joe Tirio  was in his office at Monarch Senior Care on Main St. in Woodstock  (and noticed the smell of burning plastic.

He took a look outside to see car parked in front starting to smoke profusely at 2:17 pm and called for the Fire Dept.

Not one minute later the car started on fire.

Smoke poured out of the car's engine.

A few people parked nearby ducked inside to get away from the smoke and flames but keep an eye on their own cars.

The FD was dispatched and there was there in minutes to distinguish the fire.
The Woodstock Fire Department extinguished the fire.

The cars owners that were near by moved their cars so the burnt car could be towed.

The silver pontiac’s owner may have been shopping, in the movie theatre or a restaurant.
They will be surprised when they try to find their car.
