Next Friday at 8:15 the McHenry County Board’s Legislative Committee will consider state and Federal legislative reports.
Not likely the legislators will show up, but who knows?

That exchange is nothing more than an SEIU representative arguing against the reforms that Rauner’s trying to enact to get this state off dead center.
He’s terrified of losing the status quo.
Barb’s right, the reforms that Rauner’s proposing have everything to do with the budget, for two reasons:
1. The reforms go to the very heart of why it costs so much to do business in Illinois.
2. The only way to increase revenue in a sustainable way is to get the economy going again, and the reform proposals are meant to encourage businesses to come back.
Ignore previous comment, Cal’s blog pulled a switcheroo on me.
