The Hand That Holds the Leash Brings Jack Franks to Heel

In his article on his blog Illinoyances, Reick writes,

Jack’s made a career out of pounding his chest over his independence from Michael Madigan’s influence when it comes to voting against tax increases and unbalanced budgets.

Reick also points out how Governor Bruce Rauner helped Franks get re-elected:

Bruce Rauner mentioned in the Peoria debate that Jack Franks was a Democrat that he could “work with”. You have to wonder how Rauner feels now. Perhaps his confidence was a little misplaced?

  1. It’s called politics karma.

    Ya boy Mikey does it.

Dangling a little bait over the cesspool that is the general assembly

  2. If Steve Reick is willing to run next time, people had better wake up to making the change and DUMPING Jack!

I would bet that Rauner could be interested in supporting Steve as well.

We need more adults in Springfield!!!

  3. Hopefully, the people realize that Franks betrayed them in an effort to promote his own political agenda.

Gosh Jack, when do the people get to see what your’e carrying in that pail of yours?

It’s time to advance Steve Reick into the political arena, while Jack Franks ‘IMPLODES” his political career!

  4. Karma, you may want to highlight ONE statement from the article you have posted the link for:

“The governor’s office says the money will be used to pay consultants to wind down the project and to handle any costs from continuing litigation. Most of the latter is coming from foes who want to drive a legal stake through the road’s heart. ”

In other words, more tax dollars being consumed by lawyers!

Too many lawyers involved in our governments!!

  5. What about the other 70 votes?

It’s not like you can vote Independent on the roll call.
