  1. This happens all over the state to all age kids so remind kids you know about it.

Also be sure that when the schools are notified, they in turn notify parents in the entire district and surrounding districts.

Some districts keep such incidents hush hush.

  2. I recommend parents and pre-adult responsible kids check out the following page.

My daughter now twenty, but when she was eighteen, she was attached at her work place.

I always taught my daughter about the awesome responsibility we have to protect our own life’s, yet using good judgement at the same time.

My other daughter is a second degree black belt and even so I tell her, give yourself all the advantage to not have to touch a sicko guy one bit… blast him with hot pepper in the eyeballs, and run like heck.

Judgement that often times only allows for seconds to decide.

These Mac look a like guns, are perfectly legal when used along with a ‘mace’ canister.

The “Mace” canister guns come with a strobe laser light to hopefully detract any ill-intended criminals, but this gun can shoot a straight shot from a good fifty feet or more away.

A straight line of hot burning “Mace” right into the
    purps” eyes.

The “Mace” ejector canister also comes with two practice water canisters and two live mace canisters.

I feel better when my daughter at least has it on her person.

this is not one of those tiny little ‘Mace’ shooters you keep on keep chain.

The canister shooter I am referring to could use a .38 holster.

Good luck and stay safe young ladies and moms and those who are no longer able to defend themselves.

  3. Mace is illegal in Chicago.

It’s illegal for those under 18 statewide.

  4. Mark, my comment was more directed at post 18 year old females and guys too.

Everything except corrupt politicking is illegal in Chicago.

Mace is not illegal in Illinois however.

Call your local police department before you purchase.

I am not certain about Illinois, but it may be you might need a FOID card to carry a mace canister and dis-charger.

It is illegal to carry a ‘Tazer Gun” in Illinois, I am fairly certain it is okay to carry mace.

I checked on states that it would be illegal to ship your order of mace to, and Illinois is NOT one of them.

Wisconsin on the other hand is.

  5. You have to be 18 or older to possess mace or pepper spray in Illinois as it is classified as a noxious liquid gas or substance.

Mace is legal in Chicago (assuming you are 18 and its non lethal), there is a restriction about using it indoors in certain establishments with 20 or more people such as a bar.

  6. Illegal? What a joke…I’ll pay the fine for my girls.

Let them figure it all out after they fend off an attack.

  7. Great comment Eric!

    I feel the same way.

My daughters carry the dispenser that looks just like a .38 and that thing can shoot straight as an arrow as it has a laser.

Check out the link I provided above.

When my daughters college friends saw her LEGAL dispenser, both the guys and gals all wanted me to get them one.

Cost I think was about 55.00 inclusive of two water canisters for practice, then two live canisters of Mace.

I also just ordered in a new flashlight that is coming out.

It has a blinding strobe and the flashlight portion will blind a mouse from 100 yards away.

Cost is 57.00 but goes down the more your order.

I will provide defense for my children and answer for it later.

    It’s all legal stuff.
