McHenry County Board member Tina Hill had $7,709.72 in her campaign fund as of the end of March.

It had increased to $7,957.93 by the end of June.

During the first quarter, she reported $3,250 in contribution during the first three months of the year:

  • $1,000 – Craig & Shelly Lukowicz, Owner Bollinger, Lach & Assoc., Schaumburg
  • $500 – Christopher B.Burke Engineering Ltd., Rosemont
  • $500 – Comcast Financial Agency Corporation, Philadelphia, PA
  • $500 – Transystems Corporation, Schaumburg
  • $250 – Baxter & Woodman, Inc., Crystal Lake
  • $250 – Kluber, Inc., Batavia
  • $250 – John Rowlette, North Barrington

There were $2,160.98 in expenditures:

  • $856.98 – Purchases of under $150, hence, identity not required
  • $800 – Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner
  • $184 – Unidentified campaign funds
  • $165 – TEC Communications, Crystal Lake, printing
  • $155 – District 200 Educational Fund event tickets

During the second quarter she received campaign contributions of about $1,500 and spent $1,300.

Donations came from

  • $250 – Gary Lang Chevrolet, Inc., McHenry,
  • $250 – Gavers Asp. Paving & Excavating, Inc., Woodstock
  • $250 – Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, McHenry
  • $250 – Mathewson Right of Way Company, Chicago
  • $250 – UP Railroad, Omaha

The other $300 came from contributions of less than $300.

The only expenditure of more than $150 was $180 to Family Health Partnership Clinic for tickets.

Hill has announced that she is running for McHenry County Recorder of Deeds.

    The RST population is estimated at 25,000 (2005) per Wikipedia, with the largest town being Mission.

    Looking at Google Earth, the Google car has not ventured into the fireroads in the Ponderosa covered hills.

  3. It would appear that anyone who does business with the County is being ‘tapped’ for contributions.
