Residential Fire

On Thursday morning, July 23, 2015 at 10:20 a.m. the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District was dispatched for a structure fire at 1184 Ridgewood Circle, Lake in the First arriving crews were on the scene at 10:25 a.m. and found a two-story home with fire and smoke showing from a side of the house through a window on the first floor.

Fire crews forced entry and made an initial attack inside the building to extinguish and search for occupants. The fire was declared out at 10:42 a.m.

Crews were still on the scene past 1:00 p.m. investigating.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire.

There are no reports of injuries to the residents, firefighters, or pets.

A damage estimate is not yet available and is currently still under investigation.
