Sheriff’s Office Investigates a Two Vehicle Traffic Crash
Two drivers, Roberto Rivas, 59 of Garden Prairie, and Elijah Drake, 18, of Belvidere, remain in critical condition Monday morning after a two vehicle crash that occurred Saturday at 2:36 p.m., in the 17200 block of Kishwaukee Valley Road, unincorporated Woodstock, Illinois.

The driver of the Toyota, Roberto Rivas, 59, was transported by Woodstock Fire/Rescue to Centegra Hospital-Woodstock. The driver of the Volkswagen, Elijah Drake, was transported by Woodstock Fire/Rescue to Centegra Hospital-Woodstock. He was later transferred to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Both subjects were wearing seatbelts and airbags were deployed in each vehicle. There were no passengers in either car.
