Will Mike Madigan Hold Jack Franks’ Leash on AFSCME’s Bill Override?

Only if House Speaker Mike Madigan needs Jack Franks to be the 71st vote allowing an override of Govenror Bruce Rauner’s veto of the state union’s bill to require arbitration will Franks be on the leash in Springfield this week.

If only one Republican votes for the override of the bill to change collective bargaining for Rauner’s term in office, Franks will be off the leash, allowing him to continue his charade of being and “independent” Democrat.

  1. I agree with Karma.

I hope Jack does vote with Madigan and the Chicago machine as he won’t be able to shake off his true colors that way.

The people of this state are tired of the Dem machine and the go along get along Republicans tanking the state for its citizens.

This is why Rauner was sent there to act as the adult in the room and shake the place up.

Think about this next time someone steps up to run against Jack Franks, your vote matters.
