Today I learned that I will face a primary opponent in the race for McHenry County Board Chairman. While the news is not unexpected, my need to raise funds so I can execute a first-class campaign has become very important.

I hope you’ll assist my campaign by attending my fundraiser next week at Huntley’s Parkside Pub. If you ever attended this event when it was done by State Representative Mike Tryon, you know that it is one of the most popular political events in the region, because it features great food at a great price in a casual atmosphere.

As a special bonus, my guests on Wednesday will be treated to a rare performance by State Representatives Mike Tryon and Chad Hays of Springfield’s Boat Drink Caucus. This group played at Governor Rauner’s inauguration, and is incredibly popular throughout the state.
