Crystal Lake South High School staff and students served breakfast to police, fire and rescue squads on September 11th/
It was to honor and recognize the Crystal Lake and Lake in the Hills Police, Fire and Rescue Squads for their service to our communities.
Breakfast was served in the cafeteria from 5:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Shannon Mortimer, the District 155 public relations person, wrote,
We had about 100 students help out.Some cooked breakfast, visited with first responders.Other welcomed them and some made treat bags for them as well.Nearly 150 staff members participated as well.This is the first year South has hosted this event and they plan to do it again next year.
