In the race for the new at-large post of McHenry County Board Chairman, current Chairman Joe Gottemoller is reporting $20,692.16 in the bank as of the end of September.

His opponent County Board member Mike Walkup has not filed a report.

Gottemoller raised $15,214.28 from July through September and spent a little over half that much–$8,545.48.

  1. I hope everyone is noticing the pattern here.

    Developers, realtors, attorneys for developers, engineers for developers, banks, Establishment politicians.

  2. Mike if you look at Jack’s, Recorder of Deeds, just about every candidate is supported by people that like them or want something in return.

    The American way, your list will be interesting also.

    I wish political contributions were limited to in district residents, but it isn’t.

    Put that on your bucket list to correct.
