Judge James Cowlin, appointed to the office last month, is running for a six-year term.

Assistant State’s Attorney Demetri Tsilimigras is also seeking to get on the ballot.

Cowlin is holding a Crystal Lake Country Club fundraiser on October 29th.  The cost is $75, $50 for Precinct “Committeepersons.”
