The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Senior Services to present information on identity theft and scams occurring in McHenry County. The presentation will be Monday, November 23, 2015, at 11:30 a.m., at Senior Services located at 110 W Woodstock St # B, Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Scams that target our community are always changing.

This quarterly educational series will provide information on holiday scams and information on the current trends happening nearby. Tips will be given on what to watch out for, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you become a victim. After a short presentation, you can meet with detectives and deputies and speak with them in a round table setting getting answers to your questions and concerns.

This presentation is designed for all McHenry County residents.

Those who are caregivers to a senior or are a senior themselves are especially encouraged to participate because often, seniors are the targeted victims.

Please reserve your spot for the presentation by contacting Claudia at Senior Services at (815)356-7457. A lunch will be provided for attendees by Senior Services.
