Besides not running for re-election as State Representative, Mike Tryon is also stepping down from his post as Republican Precinct Committeeman.

Tryon has served as Republican Committeeman for decades in Algonquin Township Precinct 36.

Tryon was McHenry County Republican Party Chairman until he retired last year. Previous to that, he served as Algonquin Township Republican Party Chairman.

Scott Vetter is now the only candidate running for Precinct Committeeman in Tryon’s precinct.

Tryon Continues Easing Out of Political Arena — 7 Comments

  1. The damage he did totally erases the meager ‘good’ he ever accomplished.

Who will Shepley appoint as his chief minion now that Tryon is kaput?

  2. Big changes are coming.

Tryon gone, Davis gone, Daniel gone.

Kudos to the team for changing the party with class and grace publicly.

  3. Mike is part of the present system of gov and he never really tried changing that broken system.

Nothing needs to be changed more than the present system of gov.

Fact is all the other state reps and senators from this area aren’t any better really.

  4. Minion for the “establishment”. Haha. The reality is Tryon did a lot of good while in office.
