Andrew Snarski Running for McHenry County Board in District 5

Crystal Lake, Illinois, Jan. 1, 2016 – Crystal Lake Republican Andrew Snarski has announced he is running for the McHenry County Board in District 5.

Snarski is running because he believes County Government should play a leadership role in promoting lower taxes for our citizens.

“The many taxing bodies in McHenry County have lost touch with the taxpayers.

“When taxing bodi

es only ask for ‘a small increase, it is a clear indication that our elected officials don’>t believe they are responsible for our property tax burden.

“Yet, these small increases sum up to excessive property tax bills, which are forcing residents to leave McHenry County.”

Snarskis three decades of corporate business planning experience that will be invaluable in providing oversight to a county government that controls a budget over $230 million and has 1,000 employees.

“I will use my business experience, energy and passion to protect the taxpayers and the quality of life we enjoy here.

“I will work hard to ensure those who want to live here can afford to do so.

“As a county board member, I will have a full understanding of the issues, offer innovative solutions and demand that government do more with less.

“This is being done in the private sector and must be done in the public sector.

“I live in McHenry County because of the quality of life offered here, including clean air and water, open spaces, and low crime.

“I’m concerned that this quality of life is eroding quickly as government takes more from our taxpayers than they can afford to pay. It is important that we make wise decisions to address issues concerning county population and economic growth, reduce the size and cost of government, and provide the services our residents need the most.”

Snarski, 56, is part of a 5th generation McHenry County family.

He and his wife Cindy live in Crystal Lake and they have two children.

Snarski worked for a Fortune 500 company for nearly 30 years as a business planner and manager.

He received a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.

  1. Someone should tell Andrew that they have been poisoning the water with toxic fluoride for years!

  2. Of course if you are standing with tirio I would not tell anyone to Vote for you

  3. Please Cindy, that argument was lost 50 years ago.

Fluoride is an established safe additive which has improved the nation’s dental health.

You discredit much of your other mostly positive observations.

  4. Stand4Truth is a gay website.

And anytime you have a snarky comment toward candidates I know you’re talking about truly good Candidates !

You are what we call opposite/inside out campaigning.

You attack only the good guys.

    Thank you.

I shall vote for Andrew and Tirio, get signs, go to their fundraisers and help them any other way I can.

You must be a Union goon.

Progressive Democrat, or an opponent (which in this case is the same thing!)
