Lakewood Sewage Re-Routing Costing Less Than Expected

On the agenda of the Lakewood Village Board meeting that was cancelled Tuesday night, is news that Country Club Additions homeowners won’t have to pay as much as had been expected to re-route their sewage from Crystal Lake’s plant to Lakewood’s.

Due to a lower than expected bid from Merryman Excavation, monthly fees will be climbing less than $2.

The project will now cost $2.4 million, down from an originally estimated $2.5 million.
