While reporting having raised no money during last year and having $83.20 in the bank,, McHenry County State’s Attorney candidate Dan Regna told the Illinois State Board of Elections today that Scott Breeden had contributed $6,125.31.
Breeden has served as President of the Lakewood Village Board and Crystal Lake Park District, as well as on the McHenry County Board.
Patrick Kenneally reported raising $55,600 during the fourth quarter of 2015.
He spent $17,694, leaving him $37,906 in the bank on December 31st.
Since then, he has picked up $1,000 from Richard Mader of Fort Meyers.
Contributions under $1,000 do not have to be reported until after the March 15th Primary Election.
So does that whopping $6,125.31 allow Dan to pay off his debts from the last time he was obliterated running for State’ Attorney?
Dan will likely reuse his prior signs (Purchased by Local 150 which is now suing the county over a non-binding resolution.)
That is unless he disposed of the Local 150 paid for signs.
The bigger question is: Will Dan have any place to put them?
If I recall, Scott Breeden was part of the Lakewood Board when they purchased that golf course.
I am thinking character is an issue here for he and Dan.
