McHenry County Circuit Court Judge candidate Demetri Tsilimigras had a full house at his Village Squire event Monday night.
I missed it, but that’s the word from the Friend of McHenry County Blog who took the photo above.

A handful of establishment types that are supporting Cowlin were there.
They didn’t brave the slick roads for the free appetizers. . .
Interesting.
Not surprised by the number of people there.
He’s going to be a great addition to “TEAM MCHENRY COUNTY”
Jimmy Cowlin is a Culture of Corruption wannabee.
Well hopefully those that supported Cowlin who were there, are jumping his ship and coming to Demetri’s !

Does Mr Tsilimigras have any special qualifications other than the fact that he has been active with the Algonquin Township Republican Party and has political friends in that organization who will vouch for him?
The law school that he attended is generally ranked amongst the worst in the country, and as far as I can tell he has little to no private sector experience to judge him by.
Can anyone tell me about any major cases that he has prosecuted personally?
I’m not really sold on Judge Cowlin either, but Mr Tsilimigras is still young, and if he gets elected for even one term he can use his years with the State’s Attorney’s Office towards a judicial pension, and the taxpayers will be on the hook for a whole lot of money for a long time.
Judicial pensions are some of the most lucrative in the state.
Good question, Billy Bob.
Can anyone list jury trials and bench trials he had tried, whether as a public employee or in private practice?
Cases are all a matter of public record.
