  1. Although the above family photo collage of McConchie is heartwarming and nice, like a beautiful holiday Christmas card!..

This election is about reform, and electing someone who can cut the spending addiction which exists in Springfield.

Legislators have bankrupted our state coiffures, taxed us into perpetuity and want to tax our seniors to make up for the fiscal deficits.

McLaughlin is an ambitious and will produce the results we expect.

It’s high time to elect a person who has the education and expertise to solve our pension crisis.

The electorate is hungry for substantive and positive change.

Martin can bring the change required, and be an advocate for all constituents, not support the failed status quo of Springfield’s elitest party bosses.

Vote McLaughlin for State Senate in the 26th district, the right man we need, in Springfield right now!

McLaughlin will deliver, vote for him for State Senate in the 26th on March 15th primary.

  2. Went to the Women’s League of Voter forum.

Dan seems like a nice man but speaks in platitutes rather than specifics.

Both during the forum and on this mailing he appears to be running away from his work experience.

Dan indicated at the forum he was a “policy maker” but never elaborated on what this means and what policies he was making.

Never stated who he was working for.

The vaguaries with Dan trouble me and I am hoping he will provide voters with a complete picture of his work experience and who he is.

Perhaps Dan would be kind enough to provide this information here on this blog!

We know Marty McLaughlin is a pension expert and President of Barrington Hills with a specific plan to deal with the pension crisis in Illinois.

Having 5 daughters he is keen on womens’ issues and has spent his entire working life in the private sector.

I would like to know what Dan brings to the table in education, work experience, accomplishments and solutions.

Dan I hope you will take the time to provide this information on this blog.

  3. A vote for McConchie is a vote for a resume of a candidate that has no experience dealing in financial matters.

In many public forums, he has failed to convince me that he has any real financial experience with budgets or pension management.

Our state’s spending addiction must be stopped.

Obstructionistic politics has failed to generate a compromise, and continuing to support it, is the single biggest problem.

If voters want to see movement on the pension crisis in Springfield, they need to elect citizens without political baggage, who are willing to advance the constituent agenda, and not the party line.

Governor Rauner need allies in the state house to help move the turnaround agenda.

Electing McLaughlin will be a instrumental firs step.

McLaughlin has a grasp of the issues, and moreover will aggressively move us closer to compromise and apply stringent business principles to our debt problem.

Vote McLaughlin for real reforms and a resolution to Springfield’s impasse.

  4. Was all set to plug for McConchie until I saw the Forum at MCC and was able to hear McLaughlin.

Very impressive what he’s done in Barrington and beyond.
