McLaughlin Makes Second Mailing

The way Mike Madigan cut Crystal Lake up, I’m living in a non-combatant zone.

My legislators, State Senator Pam Althoff and State Rep. Barb Wheeler, have no primary opponents.

Except for State Rep. Steve Andersson’s district, which is basically Sun City, all the other parts of McHenry County have State Rep. or State Senate races.

The State Senate seat being vacated by self-term limited Dan Duffy has three men seeking to succeed him:

  • Martin McLaughlin
  • Don McConchie
  • Casey Urlacher

All have sent out or had sent out on their behalf in Dan McConchie’s case, two mailings.

Here is Barrington Hills Village President Martin McLaughlin’s second direct mail piece:

The second mailing from Martin McLaughlin concentrates on what he did as Barrington Hills Village President.

The second mailing from Martin McLaughlin concentrates on what he did as Barrington Hills Village President. He says he cut spending each of three years, held the line on taxes his first year and cut taxes in his second and third years in office.

Martin McLaughlin says he ran Barrington Hills as a business.

  1. Cutting spending and cutting taxes are something I could get excited about.

Althoff, Wheeler, Schofield, and Wilbrandt could learn a thing or two from Marty!

  2. Marty is the perfect fit for State Senator 26th District.

He HAS cut spending and taxes, not just the sound bytes we hear from the other candidates.

His ability to work with people, his experience with pensions, puts him in the right place at the right time.

Voting for Martin McLaughlin is an investment in the future of Illinois.

    Do you care?

then vote for Marty on the 15th.

  3. Martin McLaughlin is probably one the smartest non-politicians to seek public office in a very long time.

Governor Rauner’s budget speech today highlights the needs of the working class to really elect representatives who will advocate on their behalf.

As business man with more than the requisite experience to handle the most serious financial matters facing our state.

In person, McLaughlin is factual confident, persuasive and certain that change can be implemented.

So let’s recognize that fact and send him to help us out this protracted mess.

IF truly desire a solution, we’ll then it starts with sending the right people.

Vote Martin McLaughlin for the State Senate seat in the 26th district.

  4. Marty is the candidate establishment and McConchie backers do not want you to see.

It is no contest, hands down Marty is best qualified for state senate.

It is a shame the Dan proft and joe walsh’s of the world do not first vet candidates for best qualified before making endorsements.

But as we are seeing in McHenry county, the new boss is so much different than the old boss.
