Roskam Calls Out Obama on Missing ISIS Plan Deadline

A press release from Congressman Peter Roskam:

Roskam Statement on President Obama’s Failure To Submit ISIS Strategy to Congress

Wheaton, IL — Last November, President Barack Obama signed into law the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act. The law required him to present a comprehensive plan to defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). The deadline for the president to submit his strategy to Congress was Monday, February 15, 2016 – yesterday.

U.S. Representative Peter J. Roskam released the following statement on President Obama’s failure to meet his deadline

“I can’t say I’m surprised President Obama still underestimates ISIS, or, as he likes to call them, the ‘JV squad.’

“This is a president who claimed ISIS was ‘contained’ just nine hours before Paris and blamed the NRA for the horrific terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

“I guess President Obama takes his deadlines as seriously as he does his red lines.”

  1. The truth of the matter is he could care less if the citizens of this country are protected!

After 7 years of this it should be very apparent.

  2. Sounds like amateur night at a comedy club.

Why doesn’t Obama hand over his strategy to Congress so they can give it to every media outlet and inform the enemy?

  3. And your surprised he didn’t do a job!

just like when he took the job here in springfield and then walked out not doing it as well?!
